Building compliance certificate

Building compliance certificate, also known as Part P of the Building Regulations, is in place to keep you and your family as safe as possible from electrical hazards and applies to new domestic properties, as well as certain alterations or additions to electrical installations in existing properties, including full or partial rewires, additional electrical circuits or new consumer units/fuse boards.

As an Approved Part P, NICEIC Domestic Installer, SMY Electrical Contractors will certify all works with Building Control where required. It is an important document that states the work is compliant to the building regulations and will be needed when the property is due to be sold.
